Within the UK Business Unit team, reporting to the UK General Manager, we are recruiting our new

Autoimmune Business Development Manager

for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth of the autoimmune business in the UK, through sales and marketing activities.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve autoimmune sales budget in collaboration with sales team
  • Drive the autoimmune business by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, alongside the sales team
  • As the UK autoimmune expert, contribute to strategic planning by maintaining a deep understanding of the market, customers, competitors, and technologies to provide market analysis including segmentation, targeting and positioning
  • Build strong relationships with customers and develop customer centric solutions
  • Create and champion the 1-3 years autoimmune business plan
  • Provide training for new products and product refocusing through presentations and joint visits to customers
KOLs & Brand advocates
  • Develop and implement KOL engagement plan in collaboration with sales team
  • Develop brand advocates by building relationships with key customers, opinion leaders and decision makers
Promotion & Communication
  • Design and implement effective local marketing campaigns and deploy active promotion of agreed products through appropriate channels
  • Design and create advertising for publication and marketing literature to develop brand awareness
  • Conduct interviews and customer reports to create content
  • Organise and attend relevant conferences
  • Organise user group meetings and educational seminars
Specific professional knowledge
  • Degree or equivalent in a scientific area
  • Experience of the IVD market, particularly in autoimmune area
  • Proven ability to drive business growth
  • Prior experience in business development role
  • Strong customer centricity and communication capabilities
  • Commercially astute, able to create bespoke solutions to achieve objectives
  • Demonstrated tendency to challenge the status quo, drive constant improvement in processes, and an ability to achieve organisational goals and objectives
