Agriculture & Rural Property Lawyer - Somerset

A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a skilled lawyer to join a thriving Agriculture & Rural Affairs team at a leading multi-office Somerset firm. If you're passionate about countryside matters and want to work with a diverse client base across farming, land, and rural estates then this role offers variety, challenge, and long-term career potential.

Responsibilities
  • Handle a broad caseload covering land transactions, agricultural tenancies, succession planning, and rural compliance.
  • Advise on regulatory and planning issues, draft and negotiate contracts, and deliver practical, tailored legal solutions.
  • Work closely with clients to provide proactive, commercial legal support and service.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years' PQE with solid experience in agricultural or rural property law.
  • Ability to manage files independently, operate commercially, and maintain excellent client service.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues across departments.
