Overview
As an Agency Securities Finance Trading Services Associate within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in the seamless execution of trade activities across 39+ international equity, fixed income, and cash investment markets. You will maximize lending opportunities for the mutual benefit of our underlying clients, working with global trading desks, Relationship Managers, Client Service teams, operations teams, and external broker counterparts. You will help provide an excellent standard of service from order entry to settlement, develop your expertise in market products and automation technologies, and leverage change management and continuous improvement to enhance the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform. You will also build relationships with internal stakeholders, present insights to senior management, and drive process improvements. Your decisions will influence short-term team and department goals, and you will often guide others in their work activities to contribute to the overall success of our trading services.
Responsibilities
- Support daily trading operations by ensuring timely execution and accuracy of trades, collaborating with traders and team members to resolve discrepancies, and managing client risk through positive working relationships with business partners.
- Act as a contact for external counterparties on desk-related trade queries and lifecycle management. Manage Tableau F&O production and modifications as requested by the desk.
- Monitor daily compliance reports to prevent client limit breaches, reconcile trading accounts, and drive the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency while ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.
- Deliver exceptional service to internal and external clients, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends, trading regulations, and company policies and industry standards.
- Prepare and analyze trading reports for management review in a timely manner; participate in strategic discussions in team meetings and handle ad-hoc projects and tasks, including coverage of reporting and data maintenance (Desk MIS, SLAM static maintenance for issuers/products, desk documentation, fiduciary account reviews, etc.).
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in trading or financial services, demonstrating a strong foundation in industry practices and operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making and issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating clear and productive interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with a strong digital literacy to integrate innovative technologies in trade services.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, maintaining attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in teamwork, leading by example with a positive attitude and engagement, and strong conflict resolution skills.

- Preferred: Proficiency with trading platforms and software; knowledge of regulatory requirements in the trading industry; experience leveraging digital tools to enhance trade services and efficiency; and familiarity with AI/machine learning to improve trade service processes.
