Job description

This lovely family based in Tamworth, Warwickshire, is looking for an After-school Nanny to take care of their school-aged child. All general Nanny duties are required in this role. Someone who knows how to drive is required in this role. The role focuses on creating an engaging afternoon routine, including school pick-ups, supervising homework, and organising stimulating activities or playdates, preparing healthy afternoon snacks and dinner, as well as helping with the evening wind-down. As the family has a friendly cat, the ideal candidate must be comfortable with pets. The ideal candidate would be a proactive and warm professional who enjoys supporting a child's development after a busy school day. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Duties

• Collecting the child from school
• Helping with homework
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Arranging playdates
• Playing age‑appropriate games together
• Reading stories to the child
• Tidying away toys after use – child to help
• Helping with the evening routine, e.g., help child organise bags for the next day
• Light laundry of child’s clothes
• Occasional grocery shopping
