A local primary school is seeking an After School Club Assistant. The role includes supervising children, engaging in play, and setting up activities. Candidates should ideally have a Level 2/3 qualification in childcare or play work. This fixed-term position offers a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional development including a commitment to training and flexible working arrangements.
Role: After School Club Assistant
Contract: Fixed Term until 17th July 2026
Hours: 7.5 per week / 39 Weeks per year
Salary: £24,796 - £25,185 FTE (Actual Salary £4,309 - £4,376)

We would like to appoint a confident, proactive and creative individual to work alongside our team in our before and after school club. The ideal person would have some experience of working within a school, play work or childcare setting. The post is for 7.5 hours per week: Monday – Friday 3.15pm – 4.45pm (term time only including training days). This post will be a fixed term contract until 17th July 2026.
