Our client is seeking a motivated Trainee Design and Certification Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This entry-level role is open to recent graduates or candidates who have completed a Level 3 apprenticeship in engineering or a related discipline.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Head of Design and Design Programme Lead, gaining hands‑on experience in aircraft interior modification projects encompassing both design and certification.

What a day in this role will look like for you :

A typical day begins by interpreting customer requirements to gain a clear understanding of the project at hand. This may include conducting aircraft surveys using the latest 3D scanning technology, then converting those scans into models using SolidWorks software to create 2D drawings to allow for parts production and installation instructions.
