A healthcare provider in Great Shelford is seeking an Advisor for their delivery team. The role involves managing a portfolio of health innovation projects, ensuring successful outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement and project management. Candidates should have a background in healthcare and possess strong communication and organizational skills. The delivery team works with localorganisations to deliver national projects to support adoption and spread ofhealth innovations with a proven evidence base. We also work withIntegrated Care Systems (ICSs) and NHSE East of England in the identification,adoption, spread and real-world evaluation of innovations that will support thelocal population and their health and wellbeing priorities. The delivery teamis currently working on innovations within CVD, respiratory illnesses and woundcare, all with health inequalities as a cross-cutting theme. We also deliver alarge evaluation portfolio.
The advisor role will be the lead for a portfolio of projects aligned toour core NHS programme, working in collaboration with health and care partners,providing project management expertise to ensure successful project deliverywith measurable outcomes. The post holder will be expected to ensure compliancewith corporate and organisational requirements for project delivery andachievement of the desired outcomes for each programme / portfolio.
To deliver onprojects as part of the delivery core team, under the supervision of the core teamsenior advisors and head of programmes. This may involve any of the combination ofelements:Build and nurture relationships with keystakeholders to support the successful delivery of projects.Modela collaborative and influencing style of working, negotiating with others toachieve the best outcomes.Ensure projects are managed effectively, leadingtheir successful delivery from start through to completion.Ensure that project risks and issues are proactivelyidentified and reported, and developing proposals for resolution, mitigationand escalation of those risks.Work with the Health Innovation East ProgrammeManagement Office to ensure effective and timely financial and performancereporting and produce regular project reports and updates for national,regional and local governance mechanisms.Ensure the work undertaken aligns to relevantnational guidance and best practice, including NICE clinical guidance.Across allour projects, the following core responsibilities apply:
Writingmonthly internal highlight reports.
Maintainingand updating project plans (including key milestones, risks, assumptions,issues and dependencies) and escalating concerns to the programme manager asappropriate.
Developingexcellent working relationships with external stakeholders as required.
Youmay also be asked to support bid writing and developing compelling proposalsfor paid work.

Key responsibilities
