Description

The Role

At DAZN, advertising is a huge part of how we bring the biggest live sports moments to fans around the world — and getting it right takes precision, pace, and teamwork.

As our Ad Operations Broadcast Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery, quality, and optimisation of broadcast advertising across both Linear and OTT platforms. You’ll ensure flawless execution of campaigns by leading trafficking workflows, coordinating with Sales, Production, Programming, and Tech teams, and maintaining full compliance with broadcast standards and industry regulations.

You’ll also manage and develop a high-performing team of Ad Operations specialists, drive operational excellence, troubleshoot technical challenges in a live environment, and continuously improve the systems and processes that power DAZN’s advertising delivery.

This role is based in the UK, Leeds, with office attendance requirements to support collaboration and the fast-moving nature of live broadcast operations.

Due to the live, always-on nature of sport, this role includes an on-call requirement. There will be occasions outside of standard working hours where you’ll need to respond to critical advertising or scheduling issues that could impact transmission. That’s part of the excitement of working in live sport — and we’re all in it together.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Significant experience in broadcast ad operations, traffic management, or playout operations
  • Strong understanding of linear broadcast workflows, ad delivery technology, and traffic systems
  • Familiarity with broadcast compliance standards and copy clearance processes
  • Proven people management experience, ideally within a fast-paced media or live sports environment
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to perform under tight deadlines
  • Experience working in hybrid environments (Linear + CTV/OTT)
  • Knowledge of dynamic ad insertion, impression-based buying, and advanced TV systems
What You'll Bring:
  • Oversee all aspects of linear and digital broadcast ad trafficking, ensuring accurate scheduling, formatting, and delivery
  • Manage the execution of ad campaigns across playout, scheduling, and automation systems (MediaGenix What’s On)
  • Review and approve final ad materials, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, legal guidelines, and broadcast standards
  • Liaise with creative agencies, Sales teams, and clients to resolve discrepancies and guarantee timely asset delivery
  • Develop and refine workflow processes to ensure efficiency, reliability, and scalability across Ad Operations
  • Maintain high levels of operational accuracy, reducing errors in campaign delivery, schedules, and reporting
  • Monitor daily playout logs, spot placements, and system outputs to ensure campaign integrity
  • Partner with Engineering and Product/Tech teams to manage system updates, integrations, and operational enhancements
