What You Will Do:

Comprehensive Risk Assessments: Carry out Multi-Agency Risk Assessments to safeguard children and vulnerable individuals in line with statutory requirements.

Family Communication: Maintain effective communication, providing support and ensuring transparency both on the phone and in person.

Case Analysis: Analyse both historical and current concerns to inform your decision-making and ensure accurate, timely interventions.

Case Management: Adhere to timescales and ensure efficient and effective management of cases.

Telephone Advice: Provide expert advice to agency referrers, guiding them on the appropriate actions and ensuring the best outcomes.

Section 47 Enquiries: Handle Section 47 enquiries to assess risks and needs, ensuring the highest standards of protection.

Enhanced Screening: Conduct enhanced screening of cases to identify priority needs and allocate resources effectively.

Threshold Decisions: Make informed threshold decisions to prioritize resources and actions.

Signposting Services: Connect families to relevant locality services for additional support.

Meetings & Strategy: Attend strategy meetings and multi-agency meetings, contributing your expertise to collaborative efforts for better outcomes.

Investigation Pathways: Follow appropriate procedures for ongoing investigations to ensure the best possible safeguarding outcomes.
