Overview

Are you an experience Pharmacy Technician with a passion for innovation who thrives in a dynamic environment and prioritises safety and efficiency?

Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is looking for a proactive and passionate Advanced Pharmacy Technician – Stores to Lead the delivery of the stores and distribution services across both the City and Queens Medical Centre campuses.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred pharmacy services while helping drive quality improvements that impact thousands of patients.

Responsibilities

• Proactively lead, organise, manage and develop the Pharmacy stores at NUH under the guidance of the Principal Pharmacy Technician - Operational services.
• Contribute to strategy and implement service improvements in safety and operational efficiency and effectiveness whilst maintaining compliance with legislation.
• Ensure all standard operating procedures and risk assessments reflect current practice, governance requirements and are implemented.
• Be a role model and develop and maintain working environments that encourage teamwork, mutual support and respect.
• Take part in the 7 day shifted rota and bank holiday duties.

• Experienced in risk and performance management, audits, incident reporting, and ensuring compliance with medicines legislation and GDP.
