An NHS Trust in the South West is looking for an Advanced Paediatric Audiologist for a 12-month fixed-term maternity post. The role involves conducting audiometric tests, providing clinical rehabilitation services, and training staff. A qualified candidate should hold a relevant Master's degree and be registered as a Clinical Physiologist in Audiology. We are delighted to advertise. We have a very busy but friendly department in the largest NHS organisation on the south west Peninsula. We work with 8 ENT specialists, paediatricians, teachers of the deaf and other colleagues, striving to provide an excellent multi‑disciplinary service for children of all ages with permanent and temporary hearing loss. We have IQIPS accreditation for parts of our paediatric and adult service. We are seeking an experienced audiologist to join us in the beautiful part of the country, serving a large mixed urban and rural population. You will be expected to have a BSc in Audiology or BAA Parts 1 & 2 plus recognised higher training with demonstrable post‑qualification experience or MSc plus CAC/HTS or STP. Given the changes in education and training over time, of course equivalent experience and qualifications will be considered.
