They are seeking a dedicated and hard-working Clinical Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager with clinical management decisions. The service is a 25 bedded complex care and dementia nursing home setting, providing the highest standards of care and support to older people with dementia.

Responsibilities

Support the Home Manager with clinical management decisions and oversee the delivery of high quality care to residents.

Qualifications
  • Nurse qualified with a valid NMC Pin
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care – desirable
  • Recent and significant experience of working in a similar care setting
  • Experience of managing an effective team by supervising, mentoring and coaching
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse
  • Knowledge of conditions relevant to older people, dementia, physical and sensory disabilities
  • Ability to organise and make decisions both clinical and professional
  • Ability to effectively deal with crises/emergencies
