A leading cancer care provider in Sutton is seeking an experienced nurse or allied health professional to lead the lymphoedema team. Responsibilities include clinical leadership, development of service pathways, and enhancement of patient care quality. The candidate should possess extensive experience with cancer-related lymphoedema patients, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous education. This role includes formal training opportunities to support personal and professional growth.
Within Therapy Services, the Lymphoedema Service delivers specialist lymphoedema advice and care to patients with cancer across both hospital sites. The service operates as part of a multidisciplinary therapies team that provides rehabilitation, risk‑reduction advice and management to high‑risk groups including breast, gynaecological cancer and sarcoma patients.
We actively support and encourage staff to develop personally and professionally through formal and informal training, offering educational opportunities at The Royal Marsden School.
All patient‑facing staff are expected to have an annual flu vaccination, provided free of charge by the Trust, to protect our immune‑compromised patient population.
The Royal Marsden values diversity and is committed to the recruitment and retention of underrepresentated minority groups. We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic candidates, LGBTQ+ candidates and candidates with disabilities. As a Disability Confident Employer, we work to create a workplace that enables all staff to reach their full potential.
Due to the high volumes of applications we receive, we reserve the right to close any adverts before the published closing date once we have received a sufficient number of applications. All applicants will be contacted by email; please check your email accounts regularly and ensure our emails are not filtered out.
