A regional healthcare provider in Bury is seeking a qualified Advanced Practitioner to join their acute medical team. The role involves assessing patients and providing evidence-based care while mentoring staff. Candidates must hold an MSc in Advanced Practice and have experience in urgent care settings. An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a qualified or final yeartrainee Advanced Practitioner (ACP) to join our expanding team. We are seeking an enthusiastic ACP to join our acute medical SDEC team at Fairfield General hospital. MSc in Advanced Practice is essential, and experience in Acute Medicine, ED or other urgent care setting is desired.
Our unit is staffed by ACPs and Junior Doctors who work independently with support from our acute medical consultants. We accept referrals to the unit from ED, GPs, and NWAS. The unit is open 8am till Midnight 7 days a week. Working pattern is generally long days with protected non-clinical time, and we are open to negotiation of shift times where possible to ensure a positive work life balance.
You will be supported in clinical practice by our acute physicians, clinical lead, and our ACP lead along with the wider team.
