Based within the Adoption Hub, your role will be to assist the Adoption Social Workers with a variety of tasks such as life story work, various assessments, support visits and work with carers and children. You would also be involved in promoting and delivering training and support groups alongside recruitment and marketing events. As such, we are looking for candidates who are energetic and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join our team.

The role will include an emphasis on assisting with all areas of support to the Social Workers and the Foster Carers caring for children who may be transitioning into their new adoptive families.

Given the diverse nature of the role and sensitive work that we do with families, suitable candidates must be adaptable in their approach and be equipped to manage the emotional demands of the role whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism.
