A renowned healthcare institution in Greater London seeks a Medical Day Unit Administration Team Leader. An exciting opportunity has become available for the role of Medical Day Unit Administration Team Leader at the medical day unit at RM Kingston MDU.
The post holder will coordinate all administrative aspects including data collection, reception and clerical duties. The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure the day-to-day management for the administrative as well as organising and allocating tasks. The post holder will work closely with the Sister of the unit, the nursing team and other healthcare professionals.
As part of your role, you will be expected to undertake training and supervision of the administration team and to work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and efficient administration support for the service.

Patient access to healthcare professionals and subsequent treatment planning in the specialist hospital setting relies upon good quality organisational and administrative support. The Deputy Team Leader is often the first point of contact for users of the Trust’s services and is central to the co-ordination and effective functioning of the Clinical Unit team.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of an efficient administrative service to a consultant team within the Clinical Unit. The post holder will liaise with all colleagues within the multidisciplinary team, and with internal departments and external agencies to ensure the continuity of patient treatment. This is a general job description, and the duties are generic. Not all posts will necessarily incorporate the full range of responsibilities listed, and the emphasis will differ depending upon the structure of the unit.
