A leading care provider in Greater Manchester is seeking a confident Activity Coordinator to join the team at a male acute service. You will work 40 hours a week, supporting patients in engaging with activities and assisting the Occupational Therapist. Ideal candidates must have a passion for working in healthcare, knowledge in Occupational Therapy, and the ability to work well within a team. We are looking for an Activity Coordinator to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Bury (Dunes) based on White House Ward
This role will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday 8.30 to 17:00
White House is Cygnet Bury Dunes 18 bed male acute service. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for men who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.
The ethos of our service is about assessing and treating people in the least restrictive environment and planning for discharge in a robust and timely fashion. With a focus on stabilisation, we support individuals to manage their mental health, reinforce daily living skills and prepare for independent life back in the community.
We are seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance the care of patients at the service by assisting the Occupational Therapist with;
