As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for residents. Your role will involve devising imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, with the aim of maximizing the wellbeing, independence, and social engagement of the residents.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you'll be responsible for getting to know the residents and their families, and then creating tailored activity programmes that focus on enhancing their overall wellbeing and quality of life. Your organizational skills, creativity, and enthusiasm will be key in inspiring both residents and staff to participate in activities, both within the care home and in the local community.
