A leading audio technology firm in Cambridge is seeking an Acoustic Hardware Engineer for a 12-month contract role. This position involves conducting acoustic measurements and developing methods in a cutting-edge audio lab. The ideal candidate must have a Master's degree and several years of experience in audio technology development. Contract Role - Acoustic Hardware Engineer - Cambridge/Onsite - 12 months - Inside IR35 PAYE
We are seeking a skilled Acoustic Hardware Engineer to conduct acoustic measurements, acoustic data processing, and auditory perception experiments, and develop relevant methods and tools leveraging scientific coding skills and expertise in audio signal processing, audio hardware systems and acoustics. Most work will be based in our amazing new audio lab featuring anechoic chambers, one of the world's largest configurable acoustic rooms and many other types of space.

Duration: 12 months
Rate: £40-45 per hour PAYE
5-7 years, no cap. - PhD research work will count as experience.
Master's degree in a relevant technical field with 3+ years of industry experience in audio technology development, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven experience designing and conducting audio/acoustic experiments in controlled lab environments.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience in processing and analysing audio signals.
