Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking an Accounts Technician. This role would suit a bright and ambitious individual who can demonstrate a strong grounding in a ledger focused role but would like to grow and progress within the business.

As the Accounts Technician you will:

• Assist with the daily process of the accounts function.
• Resolve purchase ledger queries by liaising with suppliers and responding to their requirements.
• Raise credit notes as authorised by the accountant.
• Work with other members of the accounts department on ad‑hoc duties.

The successful Accounts Technician will have:

• Solid experience within a finance / purchase ledger focused role.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and able to plan, prioritise and organise.
• Comfortable working independently and within a team.
• Understanding of Sage and Microsoft Office.
