Hours: 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £29,284 - £33,445

The Finance team operates to high standards, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions across the clinic. The Accounts Payable function is central to this work, providing dependable support to clinical and corporate departments and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. This role offers the opportunity to work within a structured finance environment where attention to detail and doing things properly matters.

The Role

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support the Purchase Ledger function. The post holder will assist with the accurate processing, filing, and storage of invoices and financial documentation, ensuring records are complete, compliant, and accessible.

This is a hands‑on clerical role suited to someone who is methodical, organised, and comfortable working with financial information in a busy but well‑run finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register invoices on receipt
  • Post approved and authorised invoices in a timely manner in line with supplier payment terms
  • Ensure all documentation is stored correctly on SharePoint for retrieval and archive purposes
  • Maintain accurate and orderly electronic filing systems
  • Adhere to The London Clinic's policies, procedures, and controls
  • Ensure all mandatory training remains up to date
  • Support the Accounts Payable team with general clerical duties as required
  • Experience of electronic purchase orders would be beneficial
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a similar Accounts Payable, finance, or clerical role with data entry
  • Experience using a computerised accounting system
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Methodical and organised approach to filing and record keeping
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a structured team
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to manage routine tasks with minimal supervision
