Overview

Accounts Assistant – £26,000 - £30,000 (DOE) • Part time hours 25 - 32 hours per week (ideally over 5 days to suit personal requirements; would also consider full-time hours for the right person). TCP Accountants are a Nottinghamshire based accountancy firm offering accounts, taxation, business advisory and support services to a wide range of businesses and individuals. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, approachable and fun team, with the main aim of always being there for our clients. We have been a forward-thinking business since 1985 and today continue to build on our reputation for providing excellent advice and first-class service to our business and personal clients alike. We are looking to recruit an experienced accounts assistant to process external clients\' accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping, and accounts processing services.
  • Assistance in the preparation of accounts to trial balance.
  • Quarterly VAT return preparation.
  • Bank reconciliations, purchase ledger and sales ledger.
  • Using QuickBooks software.
  • Payroll support, where required.
Experience required
  • Experience of working in an accountancy practice is essential.
  • Ability to work solely with minimum supervision.
  • A personable, customer driven, people person.
  • Have a positive can-do attitude and be prepared to go the extra mile to support client queries.
