What You'll Do

• Processing supplier invoices, staff expenses and purchase orders accurately and on time
• Supporting month-end tasks, including journals, reconciliations and accrual preparation
• Assisting with client invoicing, ensuring billable work is captured and issued correctly
• Maintaining accurate financial records and helping prepare internal reports
• Handling finance queries from project teams and suppliers, providing excellent service
• Monitoring aged debt and assisting with credit control where required
• Supporting continuous improvement across finance processes and systems
• Contributing to a collaborative finance team and supporting colleagues during peak periods

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator or similar role
• AAT part-qualified, or equivalent
• Confidence using finance systems and advanced Excel skills – LOOKUPs, SUMIFs, Pivot Tables required
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and a team‑focused approach
• An interest in developing a finance career within a technical consultancy environment
