Job description
Job Introduction

At Agincare, we believe in making a real difference - not just in the lives of the people we care for, but in the careers of the people who make it all happen. We're looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team and help ensure smooth and accurate cash management across the business.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance or accounting, with full training and support provided.

About the Role

As our Accounts Assistant, you'll play a key part in keeping Agincare's finances running smoothly. Working closely with our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams, you'll manage daily cash and bank transactions in NetSuite, ensuring all payments are processed, reconciled, and recorded accurately and on time.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Cash & Bank Management: Processing incoming and outgoing payments and maintaining accurate cashbooks.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting: Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and supporting month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Customer & Vendor Transactions: Accurately allocating payments to invoices and ensuring documentation and approvals are in place.
  • Compliance & Controls: Following internal controls, maintaining proper audit trails, and supporting internal and external audits.
  • Collaboration: Working with AR/AP teams to resolve queries, liaising with councils when needed, and assisting with finance office tasks such as stationery procurement.
About you

You're detail-oriented, organised, and enjoy working with numbers. Whether it's matching payments or reconciling accounts, you take pride in getting things right.

You may be starting your finance career or looking to grow your skills in an accounts role - what matters most is your eagerness to learn.

You're comfortable using spreadsheets and accounting systems (experience with NetSuite is a plus) and work well as part of a team. With a positive attitude and strong attention to detail, you'll help keep our finance operations running smoothly.
