  • Assisting the Finance Manager with the day-to-day activities of the finance team.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly CIS and RCT Returns.
  • Preparing VAT returns.
  • Responsible for Bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Ensuring all invoices are accurately coded and posted to the ledger.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Preparing the weekly payment run.
  • Dealing with supplier queries in a timely manner.

Accounts Assistant

We are working with a leading manufacturer to recruit for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to be part of their finance team.

This is a permanent job based in Greater Belfast. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation and will be reporting into the Finance Director.

This position is perfect for someone looking to develop their skills in finance and gain hands-on experience within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with the day-to-day activities of the finance team as required.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly CIS and RCT Returns
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Responsible for Bank and credit card reconciliations including the processing of sundry payments and receipts.
  • Ensuring all invoices are accurately coded and posted to the ledger
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Preparing the weekly payment run
  • Dealing with supplier queries in a timely manner
What you will need
