Job description
Responsibilities
  • Maintain day-to-day accounting entries, general ledger, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure accurate project-wise cost tracking (land purchase, development, and construction expenses).
  • Manage supplier, contractor, and vendor payments with proper documentation.
  • Record client advances, installment collections, and outstanding receivables.
  • Monitor overdue payments and assist in collection follow-ups.
  • Maintain detailed accounts for land acquisition, registration, legal fees, and development costs.
  • Track expenses against budgets for real estate projects.
  • Assist in pricing and profitability analysis of plots, flats, and commercial spaces.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in external and internal audits by preparing necessary schedules and documentation.
  • Maintain proper filing of all financial and legal records related to land and property.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and project cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and highlight variances.
  • Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
  • Coordinate with banks for loans, mortgage documentation, and project financing.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and client information.
