Position: Accountant

Location: Norwich

Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
  • Prepare year-end financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns for clients in accordance with tax regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and provide advice on VAT-related matters.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients to improve their financial performance.
  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex accounting and tax issues.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior staff members.
Qualifications
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a practice environment is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of UK tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
