Job description

An exciting opportunity for a Dealership Accountant within the Gloucester area has arisen for our Motor Trade Client.

Working within a Volume Brand Dealership, the successful Dealership Accountant will be well versed in providing an exceptional Accounting service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dealership accounting role is essential
• Skilled in using Kerridge or Pinnacle DMS systems
• Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with proven motor trade accounting background
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Duties

• Managing and Overseeing the day‑to‑day functions of the Vehicle Accounts Department
• Producing accurate management accounts to group time‑scale
• Financial reporting
• Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed in line with group procedures
