About The Role

Job Title: Account Manager – Cleaning Services

Location: Northern Ireland (multi-site travel required)

Hours: Monday to Friday (with occasional evenings/weekends as required)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Account Manager to support the delivery of a prestigious public sector contract across multiple sites throughout Northern Ireland. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality cleaning services, ensuring compliance, and strengthening the client partnership.

This is a highly mobile position — a strong background in cleaning operations and a willingness to travel regularly are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily cleaning operations across multi-site locations
  • Lead, coach, and support cleaning teams including supervisors
  • Undertake regular site audits to ensure delivery excellence and H&S compliance
  • Maintain strong client relationships through planned meetings and service reviews
  • Manage staffing allocation, performance, scheduling, and absence cover
  • Support budget control and contract performance reporting to the Head of Operations
  • Drive service improvements and respond proactively to operational challenges
  • Ensure COSHH, risk assessments, and safety standards are fully adhered to
  • Assist with mobilisation and continuous development of the contract
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong background in professional cleaning / soft FM at supervisory or management level
  • Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility to travel across Northern Ireland
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage performance effectively
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-focused
  • Comprehensive understanding of H&S within cleaning environments
  • Experience within public sector cleaning contracts
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence working to KPIs
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and reporting systems
