Business Development Manager – Eastern Europe (Polish Speaker)

Location: Hybrid (Stevenage or Barcelona-based preferred) with flexible remote work

Languages: Polish (mandatory), English (fluent)

Industry Focus: Life Sciences (Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices)

Purpose of the Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for nurturing growth opportunities within smaller accounts and identifying new business leads to drive revenue. You’ll play a key role in expanding Rephine’s market presence across Eastern Europe, particularly in Poland, while ensuring outstanding client satisfaction and long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of existing clients to reignite engagement and foster growth.
  • Proactively communicate to understand client needs and promote Rephine’s audit and consultancy services.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and client interaction.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client challenges.
  • Negotiate and close contracts in line with company standards and client expectations.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity to continuously improve strategy.
  • Use market intelligence to refine commercial approaches and uncover new opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to smoothly transition and manage growing accounts.
  • Work with the Marketing team to design campaigns and materials aligned with sales objectives.
  • Provide structured feedback from clients to Product and Operations teams to refine Rephine offerings.
  • Partner with Rephine’s internal technical and delivery teams to ensure excellent project outcomes.
  • Track and report on pipeline progress, client insights, and overall sales performance.

Your Profile

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or certifications in Sales/Business Development preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales or business development, ideally in Pharma, Life Sciences, or a related consulting industry.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and develop strong pipelines.
  • Native-level Polish and fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
