Job description
Responsibilities
  • Act as the single point of contact for a portfolio of 20 retail accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans with clear stakeholder mapping.
  • Run quarterly business reviews independently with senior stakeholders.
  • Drive expansion through cross‑site roll‑outs, opening new departments and managing hardware refresh cycles.
  • Secure contract renewals and maintain long‑term business continuity.
  • Partner with Technical Account Managers and Support to ensure customer success.
  • Maintain accurate CRM forecasting and provide market intelligence.
  • Make customer site visits 2–3 times per month across the UK.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B account management experience.
  • Complex solution sales background (not purely transactional).
  • Strong fundamentals in account mapping, QBRs and strategic planning.
  • Experience managing multi‑stakeholder environments across technical and operational functions.
  • Energy and presence for senior‑level conversations.
  • Proven track record of results and career progression.
  • Pure sales/account management background.
  • UK travel (2–3 visits per month) and availability for office 1–2 days per week.
Desirable
  • Retail sector experience or understanding.
  • SaaS or subscription revenue model background.
  • Security or safety solutions experience.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce).
  • Structured sales methodology exposure (MEDDPICC, etc.).
Compensation & Benefits
  • £60,000 – £70,000 base salary.
  • £20,000 OTE (uncapped beyond target).
