Job Title and Location

Account Manager in Manchester, offering a salary of £58,000 plus a car/allowance of £5,200 and a 5% bonus.

Job Brief

An experienced and well-rounded Account Manager is needed for a well-known Facilities Management organisation. The successful candidate must be a member of BIFM, have appropriate FM or technical qualifications, and a good knowledge of building services and legislations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment and working conditions for all employees in line with the organisation's safety standards.
  • Comply with all the company's policies/procedures to ensure timely and effective implementation.
  • Drive quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote an open and direct management style that encourages progress and development with team members and client stakeholders.
  • Ensure financial policies and processes are effectively communicated, implemented, and monitored.
  • Ensure contracts are staffed by fully competent, properly trained teams, with all post holders being appropriately skilled and experienced to undertake their roles effectively.
  • Deliver effective communication through competent advice, leadership, and direct contribution to client management meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, and monthly and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective operation, maintenance, and repair of the site's M&E Plant and equipment, building fabric, and services.
  • Minimise company risk from a technical, financial, or health and safety perspective by making appropriate checks in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Previous contract management experience.
  • Member of BIFM, appropriate FM, or technical qualifications.
  • Good knowledge of building services and legislation.
  • Experience managing services in a prestigious corporate environment.
  • Good experience and track record in working in Facilities Management.
  • Ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances.
  • Technical background essential.
  • H&S Qualification / M&E Qualifications.
  • Health and Safety aware in all aspects of the business.
  • Water Systems and Legionella Control - HSG274.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
  • Experience of using a CAFM system.
  • Full clean driver's license.
