Account Executive
This is a vibrant and busy company who are looking for hungry, “go getting” and self-motivated people to join their sales and account management team. This role focuses on developing existing business with customers, identifying buying signals, uncovering new projects and opportunities, and building relationships to position the company as the main supplier.

The aim of this role is to ensure the smooth running of your individual accounts, maintain customer satisfaction and retention, with administrative support for day-to-day duties. It remains a heavily admin-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and the primary communication route for customers and suppliers, managing the flow of products through the business to the customer.
- Purchase management and adherence to QA requirements.
- Demonstrate sound administrative skills and be driven by targets and bonus earnings.

- You must be a great team player who collaborates effectively and contributes to a positive team environment.
- Confident communication skills and effective self-management and self-motivation.
- Clear understanding of workloads and priorities, with decision-making on margins and supplier choice.
- Ability to produce clear communications and detailed reports for the external sales contact; commercial awareness and customer service focus.
- Comfortable with a range of software packages and relationship-building with customers and suppliers.
- Competitiveness and familiarity with electronic components or the electronics distribution industry is advantageous but not essential; strong maths and IT skills are advantageous.
- Clear, customer-facing communication with a desire to please and exceed customer expectations.
- No prior electronics industry experience required (though beneficial); prior sales, administrative, and customer service experience is advantageous.
- On-the-telephone comfort and excellent communication skills; ability to work well both in a team and independently.
Must Haves
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable working to targets.
- Attention to detail; proficient Excel/Word skills; accuracy in written communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
