Working with us as an Account Executive, you have the opportunity to build and maintain strong relationships with a full portfolio of prestigious clients across a wide range of industry sectors, delivering exceptional client service.
On a daily basis, we expect you to showcase your skills and knowledge by:
- Achieve & maintain a high level of customer service whilst always promoting exceptional customer care standards.
- Develop & maintain professional working relationships with all clients & internal colleagues including stakeholders, ensuring expert advice is given in all areas of the business.
- Have a growth mindset coupled with an ability to develop your own pipeline & network of clients through strategic & consultative relationship building.
- Attend client meetings to identify their needs & present recommendations of cover, maximising opportunities & referrals.
- Attend external events to promote our extensive portfolio collaborating with divisions across the wider group.
- Pro-actively developing appropriate solutions and proposals for clients to ensure client retention;
- Supporting the company in accurate budgeting forecasting and tracking of revenue;
- Contributing to the achievement of team and business objectives by identifying gaps, up-selling and cross-selling;
- Managing personal workloads and meeting deadlines;
- Ensuring that Company procedures, our high client service standards and FCA compliance regulations are adhered to and maintained, at all times acting in the best interests of our clients.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Our next Account Executives should have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, with good all-around corporate/commercial insurance experience and technical knowledge across a range of classes of insurance products.
- Track record in generating and maintaining commercial insurance revenue streams
- Ability to persuade and influence
- Strong communication skills, in particular in relation to client relationship building
- Experience of preparing proposals and presenting to senior business leaders
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of most commercial classes of business and associated insurance products, along with knowledge of the NI broker market
- ACII / DIP CII qualification or working towards
- Self-motivated and resilient
- Attention to detail and ability to prepare high quality paperwork
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Hold a current, valid driving licence
