Responsibilities

  • Prepare year-end accounts and management accounts.
  • Visit client premises to provide on-site support.

  • Review work completed by junior staff and provide guidance.

About Us:
My client are a forward-thinking Accountancy Practice seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified or fully qualified accountant who has a background in practice and is looking to further their career in a client-facing role.


Responsibilities


  • Prepare year-end accounts, management accounts, and financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients.

  • Visit client premises to provide on-site support and develop strong working relationships.

  • Advise clients on tax compliance, tax planning, and other financial matters.

  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met accurately and on time.

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns and corporation tax computations.

  • Review work completed by junior staff and provide training and guidance as needed.

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and other relevant regulations.


Skills and Experience


  • Part-qualified or fully qualified ACA/ACCA with experience working in an accountancy practice.

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.

  • Proven ability to prepare financial statements and handle client queries confidently.
