Responsibilities
  • To support people residing in temporary accommodation and open to Housing Solutions service in conjunction with the temporary accommodation officers.
  • To assist people with the completion of Housing Benefit / UC claims and License Agreements.
  • To complete welfare and room checks at different temporary accommodation settings in conjunction with the temporary accommodation officers.
  • Ensure compliance of occupancy rules to maintain accommodation.
  • Support the team with any other duties to support people in the service.
Education

A relevant professional qualification directly related to working with any of the potential client groups

Experience

Relevant experience of working in a housing environment within the public sector.

Skills

Excellent communication skills both written and oral together with in depth knowledge of various IT systems and the ability to create spreadsheets, reports etc. as well as direct experience of maintaining an efficient data base.
