We are looking for an Access Admin Officer to join our Property Investment Team.

About the role

As the Access Admin Officer your manager will be our Support Team Supervisor. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area based at our Head Office in Castleford.

As the Access Admin Officer you will play a key role in coordinating hard‑to‑access jobs by scheduling specialist trades, maximising contact opportunities and ensuring all works progress smoothly in line with regulatory requirements. Working collaboratively across teams and external partners, you’ll help drive efficient service delivery and secure the best value for Vico Homes.

  • Implementation of new procedures
What you’ll do
  • Coordinate and schedule previously "No Access" Damp, Mould, Condensation and Disrepair jobs, ensuring efficient planning, maximum first‑time access and cost‑effective delivery.
  • Manage end‑to‑end job processing from contacting residents and arranging appointments to updating systems in line with legislation and Vico Homes’ procedures.
  • Work closely with colleagues and external partners to identify contact routes, manage diaries and prepare detailed records for inaccessible properties to support senior decision‑making.
  • Drive continuous improvement by spotting process gaps and feeding recommendations into the Property Investment team.
  • Produce accurate, timely management information and keep senior leaders fully informed on progress and property‑specific updates.
What we’re looking for
  • A qualification at Level 2 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework such as GCSEs (3 or more at grades 9-4/A-C), Award, Certificate or Diploma or equivalent, with strong confidence using computer systems and Microsoft applications.
  • A skilled communicator with the ability to negotiate, present information clearly, challenge existing processes and deliver excellent customer service in a performance driven environment.
  • Proven experience in fast‑paced operational settings, demonstrating strong organisation, analytical ability, flexibility, teamwork and an understanding of the legislation and procedures relevant to Vico Homes. Knowledge and understanding of priority, allocation, scheduling and completion of work under Awaab’s Law, would be beneficial.
