A reputable educational institution in Sunderland is seeking Academic Tutors to support teaching in modules for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. Candidates should possess an honours degree in a relevant subject area and have teaching experience or relevant professional background. The role involves flexibility based on programme needs and may include teaching across the year. The position offers generous annual leave and pension scheme enrollment.
Our Academic Tutors play a fundamental role within our teaching provision. Academic Tutors work alongside our Lecturers and Senior Lecturers to provide teaching support where needed, such as during increased student numbers or staff absences (e.g., holidays, maternity, sickness). The role may involve teaching Undergraduate and Postgraduate students on Campus, depending on qualifications. If you are suitable for the role, you will be added to our Academic Tutor pool and may be offered teaching on modules across the year, depending on programme needs and availability. We are looking to recruit imminently to support current teaching requirements.
