Job description
Overview

Our Academic Tutors play a fundamental role within our teaching provision. Academic Tutors work alongside our Lecturers and Senior Lecturers to provide teaching support where needed, such as during increased student numbers or staff absences (e.g., holidays, maternity, sickness). The role may involve teaching Undergraduate and Postgraduate students on Campus, depending on qualifications. If you are suitable for the role, you will be added to our Academic Tutor pool and may be offered teaching on modules across the year, depending on programme needs and availability. We are looking to recruit imminently to support current teaching requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Provide teaching support on modules as needed, alongside Lecturers and Senior Lecturers.
  • Teach Undergraduate and Postgraduate students on Campus (depending on qualifications).
  • Join the Academic Tutor pool and be available for teaching across the year based on programme needs and availability.
  • Fill gaps due to staff absence or increased student numbers.
