A leading secondary school located in Wandsworth, London is looking to appoint an Academic Support Officer. Responsibilities


  • You will be the second point of contact after the Form (year group) Tutors for students and parents, especially about the day-to-day working of the Academy Behaviour Management Policy - supporting students and families in equal measure

  • You will prioritise the issues arising from contacts with students and parents to minimise the disruption to the pupils\' learning and you will ensure that issues are dealt with efficiently and fairly

  • You will support the personal social and academic development of students and promote their well-being within each Key Stage

  • You will assist in maintaining links with home, internal and external support services involved with student welfare and safety

  • Title - Academic Support Officer

  • 105 - 110 per day

  • ASAP Start

  • Monday - Friday - School Hours - No weekends

  • Support teachers covering lessons where necessary
