A vibrant further education college is seeking a Part-time Academic Department Administrator to work 28.8 hours a week at the Broxbourne Campus. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and prior experience in a similar position. We are seeking a highly organised Administrator with a proactive and flexible approach, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to work professionally and discreetly with learners, colleagues and members of the public.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases, is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have proven experience that allows them to work with minimal supervision and effectively solve a variety of problems.
You must be able to organise your workload efficiently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced secretarial and administrative skills.
You will have a minimum of GCSE-level education (or equivalent), with at least a grade C/4 in English and Maths.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
You should be able to manage information efficiently and effectively within a further education setting.
Experience delivering a customer-focused service is also required.
Additionally, you must demonstrate the ability to work professionally and discreetly with learners, colleagues and members of the public.
