Gi Group are looking for 7.5ton drivers in Warwick, for a well known company in the area.

Rates of Pay

• Monday to Friday - £17.37 inclusive of your holiday pay.

Shifts and Hours

• Monday to Friday – no weekends.

Start Times

• 05:00 am
• 10 hours guaranteed per shift

Location

Warwick – commutable from Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, Banbury, Southam, Kenilworth, Southeast Birmingham and other surrounding areas.

Gi Group are recruiting 7.5T Drivers for a position with our client based in Warwick. We have a prestigious company that has operated in the area for many years. The 7.5T Driver will be placed on a temporary contract, working Monday to Friday from 2nd February until end of March.

The Role

The 7.5T driver position is due to run until Easter, supporting our client with their peak period. Handball is to be expected pushing trolleys, and this position may include some multi-drop runs (Up to 12 per shift). This is a temporary transfer position and training will be provided on the job. The 7.5T driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.

The Perfect Candidate

• Will hold a 7.5T / LGV C1 licence entitlement
• At least 6 months experience
• Will hold a valid CPC and Tachograph
• Will be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.
