Job description

Are you an experienced 7.5 tonne driver looking for a change? Would you like to work for a market leading company with fantastic benefits? If so, we have a great opportunity for you!

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent 7.5 tonne driver to join our two-person home delivery team in Northampton for our customer, Wickes.

You will be contracted to work 45 hours per week, with the start time window of 04:00 and 06:00 working 5 from 7 days, Tuesday to Saturday. Working in a two-person crew, you will be responsible for delivering flat packed products to customer premises.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers' products.
• Providing excellent face to face customer service to customer
• Average drops per day between 3-5
• As required carrying out a mixture of deliveries, this will involve driving vans alongside other types of vehicles as operational needs dictates

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• Successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check
