A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Lead Nurse/Practitioner for Workforce Development in Barnsley. This role involves leading a team of educators to enhance evidence-based learning opportunities. Candidates must be registered healthcare professionals with significant leadership experience. The contract is fixed-term for 12 months, offering a salary between £47,810 and £54,710 per year, with part-time, flexible working patterns available.
Lead Nurse/Practitioner for Workforce Development (12 months, maternity cover) – NHS Band 7. The post is for a nurse, midwife or allied health professional to lead a team of Practice Educators and Pastoral Support Workers to deliver high quality evidence-based learning and development opportunities across Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Hours: 30 hours per week. Work pattern: primarily Monday to Friday 8am–6pm with occasional weekend work to support attendance at local university and college open days.
Location: Pogmoor Road, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S75 2EP.
