Overview

Compliance and eligibility

Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check done than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. If there is any change to what is currently required, this will be confirmed by either the Hiring Manager or the Recruitment Team. Salary and shifts

Please note: As this post is part-time, the salary will be pro-rata.

This post will cover both day shifts and night shifts including weekends, 2 shifts are 1800-0630 and 0600-1830 with a third shift finishing at 1801 and one finishing at 0601 (will change with the reduction in working week). The position is primarily based at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital but will involve some work at the Astley Ainslie Site.
