Job summary

Jago Consultants in Worthing (Findon) is seeking a 1st Line IT Support Technician to join a busy MSP IT team. You will support customers remotely and over the phone, and on-site from the Worthing office, handling servers, desktops, networking devices and printers.

Full training is provided, with clear progression opportunities within the company. The role requires a minimum of 12 months in a similar IT support role, knowledge of Office 2010/2013/2016 and Office365 is advantageous, and a strong

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016, and Office365 would be an advantage.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of printers.
• Good communication skills – written and verbal.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to diagnose faults and find solutions.
• Ability to maintain strong relationship with customers.
• Able to follow agreed procedures and documentation.
• Base understanding of networking protocols and devices (Draytek/Netgear).

Role: 1st Line It Support Technician
Sector: MSP IT Support Company
Location: Findon / Worthing

This is an opportunity to join a well-established IT Support Company, based in Worthing, West Sussex providing support to a variety of customers across the South East. They are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the busy IT team.

Working from their office in Worthing you will be supporting their customers via telephone, email and remote support tools. As part of the desktop support role you will get the chance to be hands-on with all server and desktop products, as well as a variety of networking and other components such as routers, printers and bespoke applications.

Full training will be provided and you will be joining an experienced team. For the right candidate there are progression opportunities within the company.

1st Line IT Support – Essential skills:

• Ideally, a minimum of 12-months experience working in a similar IT Support role

Package:
A basic salary range of £21,000 – £25,000 (depending on experience)
