Job summary

Jago Consultants in Paisley is seeking a 1st/2nd Line Support Technician to join the IT team. You will act as the first point of contact for staff IT issues, logging and managing calls, and troubleshooting hardware, software and network problems.

The role requires 3+ years in 1st/2nd line support, excellent Azure and Office 365 knowledge, and strong communication skills. On-site support and end-user device management are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in 1st/2nd line support.
• Excellent knowledge of Azure.
• Excellent knowledge of Office 365.
• Experience with Citrix.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for calls / emails from staff regarding IT issues.
• Receiving, logging and managing calls from internal staff in person or via email.
• Troubleshooting IT problems from in-house software to hardware.
• Troubleshoot network issues.
• Take ownership of calls and provide on-site support.
• Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries.
• Liaise with in-house technical and operational staff pro-actively.
• Manage endpoint device deployment including configuration and asset updates.
