Job summary

Jago Consultants in Glasgow is seeking an IT Administrator to join their team and provide professional, friendly IT support to colleagues across the firm, acting as the first point of contact for service desk tickets, with a focus on end-user computing and remote desk-side assistance.

You will handle on-boarding/off-boarding access, manage assets such as laptops and mobiles, assist with audio/video systems, and occasionally travel to other Scotland offices.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience or completion of a relevant apprenticeship.
• Clear understanding of information security.
• Excellent communication skills and flexible.
• Knowledge in VPN solutions.
• MFA and iBoss knowledge is desirable.
• Driving Licence.
• IOS and Mitel Phone Systems experience.
• Previous experience within a law firm – Desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality first line support to all incoming enquiries.
• Take ownership of all tickets ensuring accuracy, communication and resolution are handed in a timely manner.
• Support of audio/video systems when required.
• Occasional travel to our other offices around Scotland.
• Manage and prioritise workload, identifying and raising any potential issues.
• Ability to work alone and within your team, under the appropriate supervision.
• Access control, manage on boarding, off boarding and access to IT systems.
• Asset management of end points including laptops, mobiles, and portable storage.
• Knowledge management and contribution to the teams knowledge.
