Overview

Trainee Pharmacy Assistant – 30 hours per week, permanent contract. Location: 278 Newchurch Road, Stacksteads, Bacup, OL13 0UJ. On-site only. Hours for the proposed shift pattern are Monday to Friday, 11:00–17:30 (30-minute unpaid lunch break). Posting date: 23 September 2025. Closing date: 23 October 2025. Company: The Cohens Group. Responsibilities
  • Accurate dispensing and labeling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
  • Assist with ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
  • Work as part of a well-established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Ideally previous customer service experience.
  • Willingness to undertake the relevant training courses to progress (including Counter Course and NVQ level 2 in Dispensing).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Great people skills and a strong desire to learn and progress within the business.
