Are you passionate about making a difference in a young person's life? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Outreach Tutor to support students who are currently unable to access mainstream education.

About the Role

As a 1:1 Outreach Tutor, you will work with individual students in the Sidmouth area, delivering tailored educational support in a home or community setting. Your role will be to re‑engage learners, build confidence, and help them progress academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, personalised lessons in core subjects (English, Maths, Science, etc.)
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students and their families
  • Monitor and report on student progress
  • Work collaboratively with schools, local authorities, and support services
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/mentoring experience
  • Experience working with children with SEND, SEMH, or those at risk of exclusion
