Job summary

An educational service provider is seeking 1:1 tutors to support children in care and those with special educational needs in Camden. The role involves working with disengaged students aged 5 to 16, delivering tailored English and Maths sessions in various settings. Candidates should ideally have QTS or QTLS and experience working with special educational needs. Flexibility in hours is available with a focus on achieving the best outcomes for every student.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS preferred but not essential with relevant experience.
• Experience working with special educational needs students.
• Must hold Right to Work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply for a new one.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with students aged 5-16 who are disengaged in education.
• Deliver sessions at students' homes or local libraries.
• Typical work schedule of 3 hours per day, 5 days a week.
• Focus on delivering English and Maths sessions.
